How to Use the Enchantment Builder
Create custom enchanted items with any combination of enchantments at any level. Add a custom name and lore text, then copy the /give command. Enchantment data updates per Minecraft version.
Quick Steps
- 1Select an item from the searchable dropdown
- 2Add enchantments and set each one to your desired level
- 3Optionally set a custom name and lore lines
- 4Copy the generated /give command and paste it in-game
Example Use Cases
- Create a Sharpness V diamond sword with Unbreaking III and Mending
- Build overpowered items with enchantment levels beyond vanilla limits
- Generate enchanted items for server kits or reward systems
Tips
The builder shows conflicting enchantments so you know which ones normally cannot be combined
You can set enchantment levels higher than the vanilla max for custom server use
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I make an enchanted item with a /give command?
Select an item (sword, pickaxe, bow, etc.), add the enchantments you want and set each level, then copy the /give command. Paste it into Minecraft chat or a command block — the item appears in your inventory already enchanted.
Can I put enchantments above the vanilla maximum?
Yes. Toggle Bypass Level Limits and set enchantment levels beyond their normal cap (e.g. Sharpness 10, Efficiency 255). Minecraft still applies the enchantment but the effect often scales unusually — useful for server-side OP items, but may look odd on the tooltip.
Can I combine incompatible enchantments like Sharpness and Smite?
The builder detects conflicts (Sharpness vs Smite, Infinity vs Mending, Protection vs Projectile Protection, etc.) and warns you, but if you turn on Allow Impossible Enchantments it will stack them anyway. The item functions in-game; just expect unusual behaviour.
How do I make a Minecraft enchanted book?
Switch the output mode to Book. Enchantments stored on a book don't have the "applicable item" restriction, so you can put any enchantment on any book and apply it at an anvil later. Great for trading-post books or custom loot.
Does the builder support version-specific enchantments?
Yes. The enchantment list updates automatically for your selected Minecraft version — e.g. Density, Breach, and Wind Burst only appear for 1.21+ where they were introduced. Old enchantments that were removed are hidden for newer versions.
